HAQ uses Razorpay Escrow to create a nodal account specifically for your project. The funds are physically held by a regulated bank and can only be released when you physically approve a milestone or following a strict dispute resolution.
If work is abandoned, you can raise a dispute. Following an investigation showing lack of progress, the remaining escrowed funds allocated to unfinished milestones are refunded completely back to your original payment method.
Disputes trigger a 7-day arbitration window. Our in-house engineering and legal team reviews the uploaded photo/video proof against the milestone requirements. If requirements aren't met, funds are partially returned or the contractor is mandated to fix the issue.
Absolutely. We do not store your raw Aadhaar data. We use an RBI-approved KYC vendor to verify the identity and we only store the verification status and a tokenized reference id.
